Had a marvelous lunch this week. Iberico pork chop, Duckfat fries and the best carrots I’ve ever eaten! A glass on Cab Franc set it all off. Can’t recommend enough!
Not tried that one Robert. Its close to the top of this list.
I recently went to the Clarence Tavern, number 25 and had excellent porchetta with borlotti beans.
I went there for dinner in early July and concur with your recommendation. I would add that booking for dinner in advance is essential, if someone wants to go and eat during prime time, check the website and see what day and time reservations open up for the day you want to visit and set the alarm to be among the first online.
Not entirely sure if white tablecloths are appropriate for a pub, or even gastropub, especially in Soho (it’s not Mayfair!)
Seriously looks and sounds really good. How were the carrots done? Or was it simply the quality of thr ingredients. I think the veg are a real test of a kitchens overall quality. Too often the protein is pretty good but it’s let down by the accompaniments.

PS. You might correct the thread title, SoHo is in New York!
