Yes but,
There is no mag premium. Pricing is 2x a 750 so it makes the shipping easier to swallow

Where is the breakpoint for shipping from CA? $/750ml equiv or % of value?
I have a hard time paying $50 for a mag or $25/750ml a $125 bottle. Not on the list, but I really enjoy this juice but can pick it up at retail or secondary reasonably easily.

4 bottles of 750s are about $50 to northeast.
A fair comparison would be two mags. Maybe $75?
Would you be happier if you paid $25 extra for the mag itself and the shipping was the same? Almost everyone has a mag price “premium” (look at the scarecrow thread for the other extreme). My point to Peter was that it’s much easier to justify the freight when there is no mag premium
Global Storage Network who handles the shipping for Winebid charged me $56 to ship 8 bottles to NJ.
None of the bottles are weapons but that’s very reasonable.
With the price hike, I’m on the fence too. Anytime a bottle jumps over $100, I’ve got to be pretty selective. I already have far too many expensive “special occasion” bottles.

Rates are all over the place. I paid $10 a bottle for a 6 pack in one of the BD offers. The net was still a good value so I didn’t pay much thought. It’s really about the all in price. If the bottle was $10 more and shipping free, it would be the same.
So based on the post above, it was $50 for one mag to CT and $55 for 2 to you.

2-day Fed Ex shipping to Washington (state) for 4 750’s and 1 mag came to $123+ …. pretty discouraging. Normally ground shipping from CA takes 2 days to get here (occasionally 3) but the ordering page showed “5-7 days” for ground shipping (which was only slightly less money)
Detert East Block available until 10/4. It’s getting up there however I don’t feel I’m tapping out yet on these. Starting to have quite a bit but usually don’t have much issues attaching the 3 pack wooden case, which is aesthetically pretty nifty beyond just the bottle quality.

I did 6 bottles - shipping was 64 dollars. For me that seems reasonable.
