I love the Shake Ridge Syrah from Desire Lines Wines so I knew when Cody told me he was getting Viognier from Shake Ridge that it was going to be something special.

Desire Lines Shake Ridge Viognier 2020:
Aromas of pineapple, spiced apple, and honey butter with pineapple, lemon peel, honeysuckle, and salinity on the palate. Typical oily texture of Viognier with great acidity that lingered on the mid palate until it slowly crept into the lengthy floral and saline finish. This was everything that I expected and I am glad I opened one so quickly after my delivery. Now to have the will power to see how it ages.

This sounds great. I only got one (already struggling to keep it to a case with them) so I’ll have to make it count!

I was lucky to have been allocated a second bottle. It’s going to be hard seeing it sit there in the cellar.
