What is the NEW Cameron Hughes Wines link on Wine Berserkers? Will there be also a What Cameron Hughes wine are you drinking tonight link to get the latest ‘reviews’ of tasted CH wines?
I don’t think that means the individual is back. I think it means they (the company CH) are back to selling wine. After the bankruptcy sale they stopped selling wine in early November (maybe to do inventory?) and then returning late November. This email was sent in late November. And I almost posted that this wording was confusing but a no ppont do I see that they are claiming they the person has returned to source the wine.
Any thoughts on Lot 473 Lake County Merlot? Back at Tranche 1 pricing, curious if anybody has tasted it.
I’m not sure about the Merlot, but I usually grab a case or two of dN Lake County Cabernets.

No Futures currently on offer.
Someone please post something fun about food and/or Travel?? Cheers
Ok, I’ll bite.
So, I traveled down to Taco Bell and decided to pass.
I went home and grilled some of my very good extra delicious Korean style Kalbi Beef Flanken Ribs.
With #28,
so good!
Good day.
Lot 527 2022 Mt. Veeder just hit the futures area.
I’m not saying this is a fit, but both Martin Ray and Courtney Benham Wines sell a Mt. Veeder Cab. Several specs are off however; grape mix, aging, price point, etc.
Progeny?
Appears to be from a different producer, but has anyone tried Lot 420 Mt. Veeder Cab yet?
This one would have been post-Cam since he said he got out in very low 400’s (like 401).
I think you are accurate, it’s the only winery that matches. Hess Persson doesn’t do a bordeaux blend at 125 and Yates price point is too low. These are the only 3 wineries I can find south of Mayacamas Mountains, but there are other Vineyards presumably without a winery that could match. And the description on DN doesn’t mention Estate bottled or make note of a winery. Both the Courtney Benham and Martin Ray’s posted are 100% Cab.
Brandlin Estate Henry’s Keep Red Wine?
The barrel program is an exact match.
Sean, Winemaker at Progeny, worked at Jordan in Sonoma then worked at Pine Ridge, then Peter Michael. Fits well with “Artfully crafted by a virtuoso with prior experience at some of the biggest names in Napa and Sonoma”
Who is pulling the trigger on this one? I have already bought several of the 2022 offerings so I am kind of on the fence wondering if I should wait for the 2023’s.
I am tempted, but passing and look forward to buying a few bottles of this 30% off on Black Friday 2025!
Blend and barrel life also line up well. Normally they keep in the bottle for 24 months before releasing. Perhaps looking for a little cash flow
What about Mt Brave ?
I’m not sure what it will take for me to pull the trigger on another 2022. This seems like a great deal/wine but honestly I think the only think that would get me interested is an old school @MatthewT $100 bottle for $15 offer ( bc shipping is included im saying $15, not $12).
