De Negoce offer (Part 2)

I ordered #501 at 8am this morning.
It’s shipping already! That’s fast! :grinning::wine_glass:

W-S isn’t single vineyard though.

Good point. They have lots of other single vineyards.

Clearly we need @Sc0tt_B to get his shipment quickly, crack one open and give us “yum” rating. I’m in if it’s at least 2 yums. :wine_glass:

I agree.

Cameron didn’t buy back his name and OG brand.

Since its inception just 14 months ago, Full Glass Wine Co. has rapidly expanded its portfolio, snapping up a series of prominent DTC wine platforms: Winc in June 2023, Wine Insiders that October, Bright Cellars in March of this year, Splash Wines in June, and Scout & Cellar in August.

And an affiliate of Full Glass Wine on Sept. 17 won its $3.2 million bid in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for three brands from the defunct Vintage Wine Estates portfolio: Cameron Hughes and Windsor Vineyards wines, and the Vinesse club. The bid also includes an undisclosed amount of wine in bottles. The sale was one of eight approved in court Tuesday.

HAAA!
I’m not going to wait for my own review.
I ordered a second case of 501 already, that’s two today.
My intuition just screamed “buy, buy, buy”.
Screamed like Jim Cramer? :grinning::wine_glass::partying_face:
No regrets, I have been waiting for the 23’s. :kissing_heart:

Litton Vineyard can certainly fit. There could some declassified (to RRV) juice on those 51 acres parcel.

Not saying that couldn’t be the producer, just that it certainly isn’t the wine.

I have like zero room left in the cellar and cardboard boxes stacked all over the floor. I need to drink more than buy these days. I still have 155 bottles of DN in the cellar.

And it looks like Martin Ray keeps expanding - perhaps more Paso offers coming?

We mostly assumed cam leaving was Part of some Financial strain or some other distress sale… I suppose that at the rate that Martin Ray is acquiring other wineries, he could have just made cam an offer that he couldn’t refuse because Martin Ray had a plan to take over the high end wine market and needed a reliable outlet for the leftover wines….

Hi All, looking for some advice. Got a shipping notification from De Negoce. Contacted them immediately, they said they couldn’t do anything about it.
I tried re-routing through UPS MyChoice but the DeNegoce shipment looks like it doesn’t qualify to be held or rerouted or delivery date changed.

I’m gone for four more days, one delivery attempt was attempted today. Two more will happen over the next two days. I won’t be home.

Any advice here? Last time I tried calling UPS I gave up after 45min of not getting a human on the phone, but I could try that.

Thanks in advance!

Brian, As I recall you are somewhere in the DMV. If you can have them reroute to UPS in Bethesda I can pick it up for you. PM me.

Brian,

Sorry to hear that. I think they had a breakdown in communication again. I did not know I was going to be getting a shipment until Fedex texted me yesterday evening my packages arriving today. It was not until later that evening that I got any messages from DN about a shipment. Luckily I am retired and I was able to be here when they were delivered. That being said I have always been able to have Fedex reroute my shipment to a Fedex store or partner if I can get the request in before it arrives at the local distribution center. I hated Fedex when I lived at another location but they have been good for where I live now.

I hope you are able to get things worked out. I know this is a very frustrating situation.

I agree that their new shipping method is a set up for this type of confusion. I just get a text From FedEx the night before it is going to be delivered. I assume that is when it is loading up in the truck in Dallas to come to San Antonio. I no longer receive a shipping notification From dN. I have been very successful at rerouting it to the FedEx store about a mile from my house and picking it up after work… But sorry to hear this is happening. My shipment is for 497 which would be a bummer to have going around the truck for three days.

Everyone:
Might try getting the “SHOP” App. Once the shipment is tendered by Carrier a notification is sent out by Shopify that de Negoce is sending you a package.

Brian, UPS having a adult delivery might be bound to not redeliver to another address. I’ve had to drive to nearest “hub” in Bay Area and present an ID to get my package. They’ll usually hold it for a week or so. Once 3rd delivery is attempted that’s it. Hold in warehouse or return to sender?? Create a UPS MyChoice profile too. Utiilize their portal for managing future deliveries.

Cheers, Tim

Thanks all for the great advice and generosity.
DeNegoce support came through just now and offered a one-time fee waive on a redeliver on Monday.

Who’s ready for a Napa Chardonnay with a higher abv than some recent Cabernet offerings?!

I’m late to this conversation, but I’ve not had a problem re-routing wine to my local Track Auto (lol) using MyChoice, as long as I get the request in the night before the scheduled delivery. However, this time I sent the re-route request Tuesday night for a Wednesday delivery. Then ups missed the Wednesday delivery and it was rescheduled for today. The driver brought the wine to the house because he was “confused” about where to deliver it. Luckily we were here.
I am glad dN came through for you, Brian. But more notifications from dN would be helpful.

Fed Ex does A LOT better job rerouting packages that UPS.
