De Negoce offer (Part 1)

Cam wasn’t joking about #160 being ready to ship !! I got the shipping notice last night for arrival on Monday !

Any comments about latest offer of Lot 282 Maison Rutz Pinot Noir?

I’ve never tried a PN from deNegoce but everything else i’ve tried have been good QPRs so for this price of $119/case delivered seems like a no brainer. Am i wrong?

Casemates anyone?

I paused buying for over a year, n.100 was my last buy. Glad to see you are still in it to win it! How many cases are you in for so far? And what have I missed since OG100 that I need to grab?

Yeah after trying to get my father to try de Negoce for months now, mention it again at Easter, now he sends me this article yesterday. [head-bang.gif]
Maybe he will finally order some wine…

True story. I saw this notice here first and followed the link. A mixed case of Mansalto Italians I have pending is now queued to ship June. It is hotter than hell in Yakima in June. I am not a frequent buyer, this is my third purchase so far. Late yesterday, I e-mailed Mickey alerting her/him of my concern on this proposed ship window and received by e-mail within an hour an offer to Hold or immediate Refund, no questions asked. I asked for the Hold option. A big reason for that vs. asking for my money back, is the excellent customer service de Negoce provided when I asked the question. Thank you Mickey and de Negoce.

Haha, the short answer is - I have no idea. I’ve slowed dramatically though. I’m very, very, very, happy with my dN purchases. We’ll probably find out that the reason it’s so cheap is it causes Cancer or something. But absolutely no regrets.

The really good ones have sold out in 2nd tranche as people know they are good.

Wasn’t that on Casemates(woot)?

NO, just shipped last week from denegoce. Final Shipment… done for now…No more room…

I received the red mystery case this week. At $159 delivered can’t really complain, although I think it’s far from what was advertised as $329 (I think) priced in the bottle shop. Using some approximation for the ones not available anymore I’m getting closer to $220. This May make me a bit more guarded in future mysteries.

Interesting. Cam your response? It’s important the “value” is estimated correctly in these things. I’m guessing the discrepancy are the ones not in the bottle shop and guessing they pretty high end. Cgomezmoreno (what’s your name?) can you list the price for each bottle you see in the bottle shop and the estimates you used for the others not in there? If you note which ones you estimating I can look at what the 1st tranche was and mark it up 25-40% and see what it comes to…

can’t really complain? but you are LOL, so weird
have a good weekend

You are indeed correct sir. Someone on my team mistakenly added in two wines that were listed at $99/bottle (which we do to inactive wines to discourage purchasing if they are accidentally triggered live) and I didn’t catch it. Apologies. Look for a little gift in your inbox soon.

Thank you, Cam, for the “little gift.” Sweet! After I sample the 255 I may be visiting the Bottle Shop soon. I assume the coupon can’t be combined with other discounts, correct?

Yes, that is correct.

Ok, addressing couple things. The name is Carlos, it’s in my signature!

I did look up the original offers in denegociants for those already sold out in the bottle shop. Since they were mostly $9-12 first tranche, I used $5-6 markup, which I think is directionality correct.

As I said, I was happy with the value and couldn’t complain. I’m glad that it was indeed an error in the advertised valuation.

And thanks for the little something something, Cameron! Not making mistakes is impossible. It’s all about how you acknowledge them and how you address and recover from them.

Thoughts on the fume? I bought a case because it certainly is something different. Doesn’t seem like the typical DN discount, but it’s not even a DN wine. I certainly appreciate the offer.
