Russ,
Thanks for update. Did you finish the bottle? Think OG11 will be the top gems in de Negoce offerings probably along with OG40. These Cabs are young, still primary, will need 2-3 years cellaring to break out. Cheers, Tim
That’s why I bought the N.15 Merlot. Sounded ready to consume while leaving all the cab/cab blends sit for a few years. Even the N.01’s I have had really should have been tucked away for another couple years.

Thanks Mike. Didn’t think about doing it myself and probably too lazy but I’ll look into it.
I had the weirdest dream about getting all these cases of weird wines like late harvest Petite Sirah and other bizarre one-offs in strange formats while a buddy got complete cases but in very old, decayed cardboard.
Troy,
I think Margo is asking about California sparkling wine. I have no idea, even if I imagine if there is high end available, that it would cost more than bulk still wine. Anyone have thoughts on this?
Same principles apply for any wine made using the traditional method of secondary bottle fermentation, which would include all of the high-end CA and OR sparkling wines, except there’s no control of the crop size by a central regulating authority. So, in theory, there’s more chance for oversupply of CA (probably not OR) sparkling wine than there is of Champagne, but I don’t think it plays out that way.
Again, traditional sparkling wine production is a time consuming and labor intensive process. People generally don’t produce more bottles than they intend to sell because of this, so I would be surprised to see a CA sparkling offer. In fact, if someone came to me and said there will be a dN sparkling offer and I have to put money on where it will be from, I would guess Champagne over CA. That said, in all honesty, I don’t think Cameron will offer any sparkling wines.
Thank you so much for the explanations! It does seem like it’s a longshot…but a girl can hope!

From another thread:
Just got an email from Bo Barrett of Chateau Montelena saying they have choosen to stop the harvest of the red wine grapes and will produce no red wines in the 2020 vintage (the red wines are Zinfandel, Calistoga Cabernet, and the Estate Cabernet). ...
Isn’t that who people think made the 4 smaller lots?

First thing I thought as well (Tablas) and a quick order in…
I’ve laid off a number of offers, similar thoughts on Tablas, and a quick Buy Now.
Rose is an all year thing for me.

Went in on a case, based on the confidence of it being Tablas. Despite what Cam says will prob lay it down until next summer.
In for a case. Gotta be Tablas Creek…great stuff!
purchased, sounds like Tablas Creek is a great fit, and I adore their wines.

Damit, I had no intention of buying a DN Rose and now you guys have talked me halfway into it. Seems like a $20ish for $12 but we know the source, it’s the same wine (apparently), and the feedback here is incredibly positive!
