That is a great idea for a tasting. I seem to be one of the few who found the 2016 Produttori Classico unapproachable, so I am hesitate to open another, or one of the La Ca Nova bottlings for a while. I normally find them enjoyable when young, too.
FYI, John Gilman is very high on the '16 Produttori reservas:
Jeff, I found a few bottles of the '16 Ca Nova Montefico locally, and bought one to try, since I hadn’t tried much from this producer. It was delicious, with excellent balance for a young Barbaresco, but with a lot of structure to give it a long life. The wife said to go back and grab the other 3 bottles, so I did. But I won’t touch another for 15 years or so.
Thanks for pointing out those videos. Enjoyed them. If anyone’s interested, here are the links:

Riserva. Not plural (a fantasy term), not Reserva, fyi.
I’ve watched those Produttori videos several times. A lot of great information. It is helpful to watch with a map of the Barbaresco official cru’s to better understand the relation of the cru’s to each other.
The 15s are outstanding. A friend was able to get some Rabaja for $57. I tried but was too late. Can the 16s be that much better?

Prefer the Spanish spelling. What can I say?
Just bought 2016 Rabaja and Montestefano in Magnums. (My favs)
140 $

I just bought 2008 Rabaja, Montefico, Asili, and Ovello at $100…all this talk about $100 2016s put me in the mood to backfill a little .
2008 was great for most Riservas. Delicious already now
Just popped the 2016 Rabaja. Very primary, vvery long, very complete.
Like most quality nebbiolo, handles the ABV very well. Are we sure this is 15%?
I am not sure, but the label I saw on Instagram said 15%. What does your label say?
Need to check in on this soonest possible
I dragged my feet while hoping for my two choice retailers to make their offers and may have missed the boat on these. I managed to get what I wanted on 6 of the Cru, but of course can’t find any Asili, Montestefano or Paje (at least not at a price I’m willing to pay.)
It seems that all of the larger online retailers have sold through theirs, but there are others I believe have not yet gotten their allocations.
Anyone have a lead on these 3 Cru at reasonable ($70’ish, to me) pricing?
wine.com had some montestefano and paje up earlier today, but it all got snapped up super fast. They still have about a case of montefico in stock though (NY warehouse). Anyway, it does seem like they are continuously rolling stock in, so it may be worth keeping an eye on their site over the next few weeks. With all the coupons and cash back deals you can pretty consistently pick up the 2016 riservas for about $50 all-in.

This is ridiculous, I still haven’t seen a single bottle shipping to CO.

I’m sorry to hear that, do you know what wine.com warehouse services CO right now? Is it the CA one?
I’ll never understand their logic for how they distribute stock to their warehouses. Maybe they figure if they sell through everything in the NY warehouse why bother sending stock elsewhere? If so, I guess you can expect to see Rio Sordo, Muncagota, Pora, etc. show up in CO eventually…
Picked up the recent issue of Wine Spectator this morning and there was an extensive review of recent Piedmont wines. Most were 2016 Barolos, but interestingly enough, the 2015 Produttori Rabaja was at the top of the list, scoring a 97, same as the 2016 Bartolo. WS always seems to favor the Rabaja, so this time next year, we could be seeing 98AG/98RP/98WS. Get ready folks, PdB will likely move into the 100+ dollar range soon.
Oh great. I guess I’ve purchased the last of my PdB now!

I think we are the CA warehouse. It just seems like a weird way to handle product. I wonder if there is some regulatory issue that’s preventing the shipment to certain states.
