Sorry if this has been covered before, but I recently had an accident involving a few bottles in my cellar and today discovered a bottle that has a small crack, extending down about an inch below the end of the foil. Since it was stored on its side a small amount has leaked out, that’s how I discovered it. Should I just pitch this bottle? Decant and strain it maybe? Here’s a photo, hopefully it’s clear enough.
For what it’s worth it’s a Willamette Valley Pinot Noir that I paid $25 for on Garagiste, kind of in the middle ground of my price point.

Decant and strain. Give it a chance.

Strain it for glass and drink it.
Oh and be careful taking the cork out. That glass may shatter worse and be a cut hazard.
I’d probably run it through a coffee filter just to be safe.
Strain it though a mesh filter or an unbleached coffee filter and try it out. Be careful pulling the cork out.
But a while back I had a 2019 Ridge Lytton Springs cracked cleanly on the neck and after a strain and long decant the wine was singing. I suspect there was a crack like your bottle and handling it while reorganizing the cellar is what was needed for it to just snap.
Big concern is safety opening the bottle. An ah-so might be less stressful than a traditional lever corkscrew. If you have port tongs, use those. Straining before drinking makes sense but I don’t expect you’ll have any glass in the wine at this point.

This. Really unlikely to have glass in wine from this (though I’d run through strainer or cheesecloth to be safe). But significant chance of breakage when opening. Be careful, I’d wrap neck in a towel (and probably wear my shucking gloves). And don’t wear your best white shirt.
I see a seam but not a crack. If a true crack, be careful opening!
