With the sale of WineDirect, many of us are faced with migrating to a new platform. I have been talking to both Commerce 7 and Shopify. I really love Shopify and they are showing me numbers that say that the cost of the plug in will be pretty equal to Commerce 7. However I love the idea of moving to a platform that goes beyond wine.
We use WineDirect and my coworkers who have worked with Commerce 7 are very happy. They’ve said they take customer feedback seriously. You’ll see user suggestions actually be implemented.
WineDirect hasn’t been that way… if anything some of the features have gotten worse. You can’t open 2 tabs now in WineDirect… really? /sigh.
