Is this fall shipping expectation across the board for all orders at this point?
Yes. The wines are safe and sound in climate-controlled storage.
No option for a refund if we would prefer that?
@Patrick_Taylor thanks for following up on this so diligently. I didnāt see any reference to my order from BD15 on the pallet, which I paid for back in January of 2024. Similar to others, my outreach to Eric the past few months has gone unanswered. Do you think thereās still any chance I receive my order?
Youāre very welcome, and 100% yes. There are a small number outstanding (including mine). I did not think to make a notation on the pallet for those. I only focused on BD16.
@Patrick_Taylor if you donāt mind these questions ad nauseam, but how might we verify everything is good to go for shipment in the fall? For instance, I donāt see my name on the pallet, paid pretty quick in April.
Mostly Iām hoping not to have to follow this page to see everyone got a shipment and I did not.
Hiya - I remember packing yours. It must be on the back side of the pallet.
The weather continues to be fickle. Itās 86 degrees in Indiana and us cheapskates are turning the a/c back on!
The BD16 orders continue to be safe and sound in temperature-controlled storage. Iāll confer with Eric about a shipping timeframe that works best.
Again, thank you for stepping up/in to help with all of this, Patrick! ![]()
Any new thoughts on shipping windows?
Hi folks,
I talked with Eric and a couple of Bay Area Berserkers. We have a plan, are gathering shipping boxes, and are aiming for an early- to mid-November shipping marathon.

Too early to throw in our 2026 order? ![]()
My order arrived today. Thanks!
Hi! Did you get any tracking info or a shipping email?
I got both an email and tracking info. Mine arrived via UPS. ![]()
Email with tracking info.
I take a few days off and wowzers, things are shipping!
For those of you who still need to pay, you can pay via Zelle. Use pay@laddcellars.com
Update: I gotta check with Eric re: which Zelle to use.
For those of you not familiar with Ericās winemaking style, the reds and whites are structured and long-lived.
For the Chardonnays, I kinda sorta double decant. About 6 hours before service, I pour 8 oz into a measuring cup and then immediately repour back into the bottle and recork. I take the bottle out of the fridge about 20 minutes before service.
Iāve had less experience with the Pinots but several CT tasting notes say they benefit from air, and a couple of notes mention the same prep as the Chardonnay.
Just a note - my shipping confirmation email came from wineryship/Kendric Vineyards.
When I emailed, Stew (at Kendric) mentioned heās helping Eric with shipping. Posting here in case others have similar emails and were confused!
Received my bottles! Itās been a bit of a wait but glad everything came.
