CLOSED at Midnight Sunday: Red Electric Wines (Ribbon Ridge AVA, Oregon) — 93–95pt Pinot Noir & Chardonnay | BerserkerDay Deals + FREE Case Shipping!

Red Electric Wines–so excited to be back on BerserkerDay!

We are a bantamweight winery devoted to making wines with tension, zest, and intensity, sourced exclusively from our dry and organically farmed estate vineyard — Armstrong Vineyard in Ribbon Ridge. Our focus is narrow by design: one site, one voice, and a commitment to letting place speak clearly through the wines.

We are honored to share these wines, along with some exceptional BerserkerDay 17 offers, with the WB community. The opportunity to put our bottles in front of thoughtful, engaged wine drinkers is something we don’t take lightly.

The 2023 vintage was outstanding for Red Electric. The Pinot Noirs are compelling, layered, and complex, with the structure and balance to reward both early enjoyment and extended aging. The Chardonnays show a refreshing, energetic profile — coiled fruit, lemony zing, subtle sea-spray salinity, and a complete, satisfying mouthfeel — wines built around tension and precision …but not lightweights! Simply put, these are wines we are proud to pour anytime and anywhere…and excited for you to open and enjoy.

Critics’ scores below each wine

:trophy: Pinot Noir TGV

SRP $70 → :backhand_index_pointing_right: BD17 $50 (wait…that can’t be right?)

Aromatics of cassis and Asian spices lead the way in this deep, layered Pinot Noir. Grippy yet lithe, it remains fresh and energetic despite its intensity. Fine tannins, judicious new oak, and complex, vibrant fruit combine to create a wine worthy of special occasions — priced to be enjoyed far more often than that.

Scores:
Decanter 94 | International Wine Report 94 | Vinous 93 | Paul Gregutt 94 | Wine Enthusiast 92

:fire: Pinot Noir – The Pulse

SRP $50 → :backhand_index_pointing_right: BD17 $35 (serious juice!)

An explosive bouquet of blackcurrant and lavender gives way to a nervy, coiled mid-palate. Classic Ribbon Ridge notes of Luxardo cherry and Italian plum drive a powerful, balanced finish that delivers depth without fatiguing the palate.

Scores:
Decanter 93 | Paul Gregutt 93 | Wine Enthusiast 91 | Vinous 92

:tram_car: Pinot Noir Interurban

SRP $28 → :backhand_index_pointing_right: BD17 $21 (ridiculous)

Focused aromatics of blue-black fruit introduce a tight, bright Pinot with a packed mid-palate. Lift and structure lead to a satisfying, seamless finish marked by density and balance. Ready to drink now, yet capable of aging effortlessly for 5–15 years. A ridiculous value in today’s Pinot Noir market.

Scores:
Decanter 94 | Wine Enthusiast 93 | International Wine Report 91 | Vinous 90 | Paul Gregutt 92 | SF Chronicle Double Gold

:blossom: Chardonnay – Evening Primrose

SRP $35 → :backhand_index_pointing_right: BD17 $26 (just… so… good!)

A dynamic nose of lemon zest and white peach opens into a sleek, acid-driven mid-palate with compressed fruit and a long, satisfying finish. Energetic, complete, and refined — the tightest, most focused, and elegant Evening Primrose to date.

Scores:
Wine Enthusiast 94 | Decanter 93 | International Wine Report 93 | Vinous 92 | Paul Gregutt 93

:herb: Chardonnay – Alpine Lily

SRP $25 → :backhand_index_pointing_right: BD17 $19 (absurd)

Rich, yeasty notes of lemon and apricot evolve into a sappy Chardonnay with a punchy yet balanced finish. Consistently one of Oregon’s best Chardonnay values — and this vintage is the most compelling yet. Priced like a value wine, delivering the real goods.

Scores:
Decanter 95 | Wine Enthusiast 93 | International Wine Report 92 | Vinous 90 | Paul Gregutt 92

Just an obvious plug here, the great Armstrong Vineyard that I’ve worked with for as long as it’s been producing fruit (nearly 20 years!!). Doug and Michele Ackerman at the controls, great people. And their winemaking partner John Grochau, one of my mentors and best friends, though no clouded judgement here. This is one of my teachers. I’d definitely take that class again and you should too. Buy with confidence here.
