Clos Cibonne Tibouren rose 2020

Incredible, one of the best roses I’ve had. Really unique flavor, not like anything else. Beautiful glowing orange color. Some tannins. I’m going back for 6+ more bottles.

I’m not very good/imaginative with food pairing - especially in this “direction” (wine first)… Maybe pork loin? Chicken tagine?

My fairly boring mostly WSET L3 tasting note other than failing to jam it into the rubric:

Medium orange. Medium minus nose - green apple, pear, honey, wet stone, wax, honeysuckle. Youthful. Dry, high acid, medium alcohol, medium plus body. Some definite tannin. Blind (literally, not seeing the color) I could see tasting a very light red wine. Burnt grapefruit, sour grape, red cherry, tomato leaf. Surprisingly hard to describe flavor - very unique and complex. Makes you want to keep going back to taste again. Medium plus finish. Drink now or age.

so for those familiar with the wine, what are your food pairing thoughts?
