No George, I will not let you do Ringland body shots.
I have but one bottle of the '99 - drink or hold?
Ed, three hours air it will be magnificent as a young many layered masterpiece. But because to me 1999 Barossa was a linear French type vintage for my palate much like 1999 Napa cabernet, I would age it until it’s a little past peak which is in five years. I had a mid to top shoulder 1971 Grange a few years back and it was one of the greatest Bordeaux I will ever have. But it doesn’t matter. Whenever you open it if you give it enough air for the surface oak and fruitcake to disappear you will wish you had more.
Thanks George! I will wait… I’m in no hurry.
I’ve been revisiting some of my Aussies I’ve shoved in the corner and they… are… awesome!
