Unthread, you mentioned the 2017 Grenache as the first to try out of that first 3-pack, to get a sense of those wines. Will do. Which vintage of the Paint of Moonlight would you say is most ready, and do you have any advice on decanting for those?

Tasting Notes are not my forte - but will do my best

great nose, mouthfeel and finish with fruit, tannins and oak all nicely balanced - there is a slight spiciness which is very enjoyable - I would characterize this as a full-bodied red, but not a fruit bomb or overly tannic, would rate this at 92 plus points - this opens up nicely after one hour and held up well on day 2 - strong recommendation especially at BD pricing - enjoy!

Late to the party on this one … but was able to snag the Paint of Moonlight 3-pack yesterday. Looking forward to trying these as Chiron is new to me.

Jay, I tasted this just today with Bobby (a great visit…he’s a gracious host…writeup to follow). I think you’ll be quite happy. Absolutely zero rush on opening. It has some fine to medium tannin, and a lovely cherry/spice profile that could only be Grenache. Opens up with some air.
