2023 Archival Entry 001 “Liftoff” Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon - A Cabernet from a single vineyard on Howell Mountain. On the eastern facing slopes along Ink Grade. This wine is more traditional. It has tension and spice with medium-plus tannins.

2023 Archival Entry 002 “Odyssey” Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon - Being from the valley floor, this wine is more approachable now than Entry 001 above. Although I did not make this wine, the winemaker is a friend from a very highly regarded winery and these barrels have been stored at my winery and cared for over the last year. It wasn’t until last month that he decided to part with a few barrels from the lot. It has lush fruits and oak, great depth and length. But much more contemporary in it’s style and open for business.
