@LisaT what hotel are and Max you at? That might help determine the dinner location.
Jordan, I handled that back channel with Lisa. Theyāll open for special events.
@John_Danza has been very helpful already. I will contact Aboyer and @Nick_Gangas from Steak and Vine.
How many attendees do we have?

On Tuesday we will be presenting wines at https://usatradetasting.com/.
If anyone of here is a restauant/wine bar owner, we would love to see you there as well.
Morgan MFG; 401 N Morgan St Suite #204A, Chicago
@Patrick_Taylor We donāt have a hotel booked yet but I assume that we will be staying somewhere close to the Morgan.
I would love to attend, but live about 90 miles east of Chicago. I lived in Chicago for several decades but moved to Michigan two years ago.
Iāll go against the grain and toss out another option not yet mentioned. Geneās in Lincoln Square has a nice rooftop - could be a bit of a crapshoot in May though
Be sure to remind him via text, he doesnāt view WB often! (wifeās name is Ib, short for Ibby, short for Elizabeth lol)
Too bad! I am planning a trip to Michigan soon as well. One of my best friends is from Michigan and she wanted to bring me over. I will let you know!
For sure! Thanks Todd. Are you joining us on the 19th?
Highly doubtful, but my spring trip to IL is not yet planned, Iām anticipating it will be in April, however
I hope you get to Traverse City. Thereās a lot of good Pinot Blanc up there.
Lisa, depending on cost, I can have a +1 since youāre counting noses.
Hello everyone, @Nick_Gangas from Steak and Vine would love to host us.
Does the location work, it is outside from downtown Chicago. https://steakandvine.com/
Let me know if that would work or I will keep looking.
I am 50/50 regardless but La Grange is an hour by car (live in Logan Sq) and even longer by public transportation at that time of day
Still think Sun Wah is the best option
Sounds great Lisa.
Steak and Vine is a half hour for me. If it gets done in the city, Iām out.
I would be interested in attending if still space. Whatās the cost looking like?
La Grange is out for me, as it would easily take 1.5h+ to drive there on a Monday. Can I throw Pomeroy in the ring as a possibility? Another French restaurant in Winnetka that hosts wine dinners but is open Mondays. Also happy to go anywhere in the city.
Yea now that construction started again on the Kennedy thatās at least a hour for me as well (NW side of the city)
