Chicago OL (Memorial Day Weekend)

That sounds fantastic.

I’m hopeful we can make it, but moving is stressful, so I cannot commit. However, if I am able to free up, I will provide as much notice as possible.

If I’m not able to make it, I hope that everyone has a simply phenomenal time.

Confirming the giodo and PdM. Must say I am a bit aquiver at the prospect of tasting the Fornace again…best '10 ever, but haven’t tasted the Giodo yet.

I also have 2005 Podere Rocche dei Manzoni Barolo Big’d Big.
So difficult to choose!
And we haven’t heard from Ryan yet…

Right now I have a 1970 Daniele Conterno Barolo standing up, but if we prefer Barbaresco, I have some 1970’s era Moccagatta.

If you want to bring that, I will leave Cesare and bring a 1970 Giacomo Borgogno & Figli Barolo Riserva. Should make an interesting flight. Please confirm.

Sounds good! I’ll bring the 1970 Barolo.

Wow. 2 x 50 yr. old Barolo! I’ve only got 3 decanters here, so maybe someone can bring a couple more?

Also, I will pare down the food menu. Suggestions? Maybe drop the chicken piccata? Is anyone else gluten free besides Leslie?

That sounds good, I’m also good with dropping the chicken piccata.

Thanks for organizing this, Mike!

Along with Jordan, I won’t be eating olives.

I won’t be eating zucchini, either.

I would think all the apps/salads/sides listed as potential orders of six or four portions could be reduced to three portions of each.

That makes me feel better, I’m also not a huge olive/zucchini fan.

Manzoni mag it is
