In honor of this thread, last night, I opened the cheapest Bordeaux in my cellar, 2015 Château Le Reysse. Think I picked these up for less than $20 a bottle.
Just amazing intensity. When I pulled the cork, the whole room smelled like a walk-in humidor; tons of cigar, tobacco, and cedar. Nice red fruit, mostly raspberry, some black pepper, and camphor. Nice balance with plenty of acid and tannin left. Certainly still on the upslope but drinking great.
