I didn’t want to name drop, Marshall - you’ve said mostly good things about Saul but I wanted to judge for myself.

Thanks for the kind words! You’ve hit at the heart of the contradiction/tension with the labels and the wines. I like “serious” wines, but I really hate overly-self-seriousness attitudes about winemaking—none of us are Anselm Kiefer or Gerhard Richter at the end of the day. (And I think you can be a stone-cold-obsessed craftsman without being convinced you’re saving the world.) So we have fun with the colors and designs, but I know that it does definitely create a bit of a question in the minds of a lot of drinkers.

Glad you’ve enjoyed them so much!

In for 9 bottles - thanks Saul!

Secretly hoping the rosado was the one you let our group taste out of a barrel in December 2023.

It was the very same wine! Bottled a few months later, and then it just keeps getting better in bottle from there.

Glad you love the rosé. Making it seemed kinda crazy—certainly when I’d tell other winemakers that we were gonna do a single-vineyard Rosato from La Cantera (not the cheapest fruit…) and then leave it in barrel for 18 months before we bottled it, I got some odd looks. And I don’t think the wine will ever sell that well through distribution because it’s such a niche concept. But we don’t make much of it and WineBerserkers has been really instrumental in making sure that we can keep it going in future vintages.

Hi Saul, just sent you an email about delivering a sixer to NJ.

Excited to re-stock with a case this year. Ordered a sixer last year as a first order and disappeared really fast. Looking forward to more You+Me+The Moon! Super delish and so easy to drink. Thanks!

I just wanted to thank y’all again and say how appreciative we are of all the support. It means a lot to see so many re-orders and and you’re all too kind. Also, we’ve officially passed last years BD sales already!

Saul deserves the support. And if anyone is on the fence thinking about buying something and hasn’t then just do it. I already have most of the wines, so not buying on Berserker Day, but Saul makes really interesting, pretty wines in a more old-world style. I’m mostly an old world guy, but three of the top 7 producers in terms of quantity in my cellar are Oregon producers selling on Berserker Day: Goodfellow, Vincent, and Championship Bottle.

Lusty Little Crushes is the answer Repeat buyer for this offer as we both enjoyed. Thanks !!!

Very excited to give your wines a try - we are big Willamette Valley fans in our house, and the quote by the Oregonian told me the basics, and the descriptions of the wines did the rest. Can’t wait to add these to the cellar!

Is Patricia Green Cellars outside of your delivery zone? One of our club members recommended your wines and I thought I’d jump in on the deal…
