Our wine group held a celebration in honor of a member’s brother a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to post the wonderful wines. Standouts for me were the Vilmart in magnum, both Billecarts, both Chevaliers, the 2014 Bouzereau, and the Girardin. But the one wine I kept going back to was the 1995 Drouhin Clos des Mouches! Lovely!

Outstanding tasting. I’m surprised the Ruinart BdB didn’t standout, although I haven’t had the '06. I do love Vilmart vintage Grand Cellier in magnum. I’ve sometimes thought it’s a better purchase than the Couer de Cuvée. I’m not surprised by your other favorites, except maybe the Girardin. They must have upped their game recently.
Cheer,
Warren
