So instead of reviving all these old topics about what to visit in Champagne I wanted to group a bit what I’m planning and making it a travelogue at the same time.
First day itenary:
**10:30 AM - Arrival and still to be defined, if somebody had any suggestions for this: please share!
12:30 PM – Lunch at Le Comptoir à Bulles in Sacy
2:00 PM – Visit to Champagne Delaunous in Rilly-la-Montagne
Discover the secrets of production – €24 (Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes)
5:00 PM – Tasting at Champagne de Carlin in Verzenay
(Millésimé tasting)
Second day:
Visit of Reims city (Cathedral etc.)
Lunch in the Glue Pot
Visit of Les Caves du Forum
Early night in the hotel so the 2yo can sleep in time.
Third day:
Pressoria in the AM
Visit of Mercier + vineyards in the PM
Open to suggestions in between but Monday is also a public holiday in France so we will have to see what’s possible.
