I have had some 2014 Chards recently and they have all been excellent. Here is my note on the Marena, which I normally think of as a more early drinking bottling:
First. Hold the last one for at least three and ideally five years. These wines are so lovely and sublime. This one, after two days in the fridge with an inch in the bottle, is fantastic Subtle matchstick, honey comb, lightly deft oak, lemon juice and pineapple juice. Just really enjoyable. And this is the lesser more accessible one in the lineup! My favorite chardonnays by far from California.
But I also have a hard time keeping my hands off of these!
