Cellartracker Question - Inventory Graph

Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to see how one’s cellar has grown/shrank over time. Maybe in a graph view or numerical list? I know I can sort by purchase date, but that does not tell me how much wine I have at any given time as it does not account for bottles consumed or sold.

No easy way to do this right now. I have worked up some internal queries and do hope in the future to expose those in time-based charts.

Thanks for the reply, hopefully in the future this feature will happen.

This could be done with excel, if you have a blackbelt, based on the ct export.

It’s a bit tricky, as it requires fully superimposing purchases/delivery/consumption/inventory.

It is not all that difficult to track in excel.
I posted about it a few years ago.

Here you go . . .

If it doesn’t look like this, you haven’t hung out here long enough.

So true. I built a cellar with three-times the capacity I thought I’d ever need. The racks are full, and I’m running out of floor space for the stacks…

Believe it or not, my cellar has actually fluctuated over the years, and will probably fluctuate more for years to come. There is an upward trend as you have suggested but sometimes I sell off wines when my palate changes and the cellar shrinks. It expands during good vintages like 2009-2010, but will probably plateau as 2011-2013 French wines are not so great (not trying to get reactions here).
