Stepson really enjoyed his visit to the MFA program at Miami of Ohio, came home and confirmed his acceptance the next day! He moves to Oxford, OH in July.
We went out to Spinner’s Seafood & Chops and I took along the fantastic 2005 Lynmar Five Sisters. Lynn Fritz told me it was a celebration wine when he sold me this magnum a decade ago, and he was right!
All sous bois and gravy now, it was outstanding with an entree they serve called Filet Mignon of Salmon: a thick round cut from the heart of a big Chinook. Grandpa sat just in time to photobomb the picture. Great night!
