I just received the clay wine glasses and the carafe as a gift. Wondering if anyone has any experience or thoughts using these?
I was intrigued enough to order glasses to test and was shocked/dismayed to see they were shipping from China. So this “Cato & Co” is likely just a drop-ship front. I can’t find the products specifically on AliBaba, but they are probably there.
I like ceramics and hopefully they are good. Just annoyed at myself for not seeing it before I ordered and taking the time to crawl Alibaba/etc.
Oh interesting… Well I’ve been using the carafe for the past couple nights as a decanter. Did a couple of side by side glass pours and it definitely seems to change the wine, softens it a bit. I tried a younger cab stemless glass vs the Cato. Seems like I’ll find myself using the carafe mostly and not switching which glass I use. But for decanting younger wines the carafe is nice.
