Cam X Wine Company

@Henry_Br - I’m in Miami! Sending you a private message.

Tried to buy yesterday (via email link using andriod phone), web site was wonky and gave me fits trying to update birth year. Got tired of trying to get it to work and moved on…

Wasn’t paying attention to my email and didn’t see lot one until now. Good thing it’s not sold out yet!

I guess I could ask Customer Service, their phone number is central time. That’s why I’m questioning.

In for a case of lot 1.

Well, I guess I survived missing out on dN 01 so I’ll be OK giving CX1 a pass (I’m not drinking butt wine).I’m sure it would be a ridiculous value, but I am busting with value wines. Here’s hoping that when Cam takes the gloves off he has plenty of offerings that would be more appropriate for birthdays than Tuesdays. Man this offer would have been exciting prior to having a cellar of dN.

I got concerned about where the wine will be shipping from since I didn’t buy the ship hold because I live very near Napa. The WineVIP website does state that we will get an email when the wine is about to ship that will give us the hold option so i am relieved. I’m still expecting that the wine will ship out of somewhere in Napa or Sonoma, but we’ll see.

I did not see that pre-advice information. Thank you for letting us know. As an aside I checked my credit card statement and it seems that I have a several pending charges and several pending credits that look like they will cancel one another out along with the original one valid charge. I wonder how that happened because I tried once on each card when I was declined due to the shipping address as I stated above. On my AMEX card, I have three charges two of which are pending and two credits which are pending… Hmmm

How did you all find out about the first offer? I’m a founding member but received no e-mail or text re this offer.

Email with an update on the business. It was not obvious that there was actually an offering, you had to randomly click on the email to be directed to WineVIP for an offer.

Assume something to do with the legal dispute. Assume there is some left, he had 2500 cases

Good luck

From the charge on my CC, it looks like the wines will ship from Wine Country Connection in Sonoma. The OG dN shipper btw.

Cam, Great to have you back in action. I trust YOUR palette after years with you in the two previous incarnations. Ordered 2 cases of Lot 1 based on your tendency to go BIG on taste for inaugural and special lot numbers…… LFG, Good luck with CAM X. Craig M.

I remember seeing the uproar here as well.

But I also remember a post from you personally (and I only remember it because it was so shocking) that stabilized and filtered wine can’t spoil in the heat – and that the only worry with warm weather shipping was pushing the cork up and causing seepage/oxidation. Is that still your position on wine chemistry?
