dN #3 was a Stagecoach Cab Franc from 2017 and was/is still amazing.
Send your complaint to WineVIP. I am sure Cam won’t use styrofoam, but if he does, just deal with it. Christ he is giving the shipping away
In for a sixer of the 21. Yeah, that “Moratorium” has some small holes.
Get yourself a metal can and a gallon of acetone
loser, all the cool kids are ordering
Would lot 21 be more powerful than dN 101? I thought 101 was good but would have liked a little more fruit and acid, if that makes sense.
That poor guy prob dead from heart disease by now
I’m number nine, #9.
So I have to try harder, so I will!
Scott, I know you have it in you, you are a bellwether among us.
Mikko, in the immortal words of the executioner in the much maligned Kevin Costner version of Robin Hood, “There’s always room for one more”!
OK, if we’re doing movie quotes, I like Bluto from “Animal House”:
“My advice to you is to start drinking heavily.”
I’ll mention I really appreciate how lightweight and slender the bottles are. Less wasteful and easy to store.
Down to the last bottles of that delightful dN L 229 Red Mountain 2019 Mourvedre/Syrah wine. Originally $132 case plus shipping and then it became available once again for $96/case during a ‘moving day’ sale. This was our son’s all time favorite dN wine over the past few years. I wonder if we will ever see such again from the CAM X Wine Company? Maybe we’ll possibly see this when The Négociant venture reappears.
Maybe I misunderstood, but I got the sense that The Negociant is now just gonna be CamX, right? Seems like that website redirects now to CamXwine.com anyways. I imagine we’ll be seeing everything under the CamX label going forward. And yeah, I think we’ll see other wines here and there, more and more, as time goes on. But I’m not surprised to see so many 2023 Cabs. I think those will sell very well in this market. And I think pinot and chard will do well, but clearly he’s known for cab.
Yes, Red Mountain juice please!!
Agreed! I would love to see some Washington and Oregon wines. I may be in the minority, but I’d also love to see more Syrah, Tempranillo, Grenache, and Merlot. Cabs aren’t my go to most nights.
should’ve drunk some cab to bring down those LDLs.
Chasing down the UPS truck for missing your 9 cases delivery burns more LDLs I think.
Khan,
I agree, exercise is better for our/my health than all that alcohol consumption. Caveat: I’m not a Physician !
So I climbed this Peak, on top before 9am today:
I just checked the Cam X website and found lot 21 is still $169 after 4 days of their sale. Noticed also that they now have $1,980 / case listed as the retail price.
