Whatever bottles you have, I would just put away. They showed well enough to me that I’m confident they will age and show quite well. I’m actually grabbing a few more here and there after tasting. There are also good and bad tasting days. I remember going to the big 2009 sit down tasting a year or so ago, and just getting nothing out of any of the wines. Zip. Yet other people were raving.

Unfortunately I need to do something to get enough information to make further buying decisions. If I wait 15 years, open, then it turns out to be incredible, and I bought nothing more from them for the past 15 years, I’ll feel like an idiot. So wish me luck…
Brought the 10’ Volnay Clos de la Bousse d’Or to thanksgiving dinner and it was thoroughly enjoyed, even if shy on the nose. The showing caused another 6-pack to disappear from WHWC’s stock.
