Any plans for a capping off party/celebration?
In my old job when we built a new fab the ceo or whatever would show up with a big ass crane to put the last girder in place and serve us ice cream or pizza. + a t shirt and key chain. Then we’d go go back to work for another 12 hrs

The concrete fairy showed up while I was at work today. I’m mysteriously missing 3 foundation anchor bolts. Ugh.
Yet tge walls are filled with concrete. Now to let it dry. Time to order lumber!

Not much accomplished construction wise this week. I cleaned all the slop on the cellar floor and stairs from the concrete pumper the other day. We had the grandkids overnight Friday and all day Saturday. Today is Dava’s birthday. I managed a trip to the salvage yard to find shiplap for the cellar ceiling. I also got a couple more coats of liquid rubber on the exterior walls. Other than that I did paperwork building my order for lumber to be delivered this week.

Saturday I’m hiring a couple guys to move gravel and soil.
