I just read the article in the NY Times about them, and downloaded the restaurant wine list.
I like their style regarding BYO, and you will too!
Click menus, then wine list, the download PDF. This is on page 2.
Wine Club Monday
On Mondays, we encourage you
to bring your own bottle of wine and
we’ll cork it for only $10.
There’s no tricky initiation test to join
the club, just come armed with a bottle
(or two or three…) and you’re in.
For maximum value bring a
Nebuchadnezzar of Champagne or a
Balthazar of Burgundy – there will still
only be a $10 corkage fee on each.

I remember taking advantage of their BYO policy in one of their London restaurants to celebrate finishing my undergraduate exams with a bottle of 1955 Latour!
Too bad the food was not good. We have had consistently good steakhouse meals in Knightsbridge. And a very good Martini. Not a Connaught Martini but still quite nice!!
We had a fantastic experience in London for our daughter’s LSE graduation dinner. Food was great and the service was excellent. Low key and not stuffy like some steak houses. BYO was a huge benefit on top of it.
I enjoyed meals in several of their London places, though the extra charges for sauce for your steak were amusing (something I see is carried over here).
With baked beets at $18, you may want to go for the corkage offer to keep the bill under control.
Yeah, that’s what I’ve heard, sadly. As nice as low corkage policies are, most good NYC restaurants will let you bring your own wine with (an admittedly higher) corkage fee, and good food is a pretty important part of a restaurant experience for me
I’ve actually enjoyed the food (to be clear, in NY) on a couple of visits. As someone who usually does not need too much salt, I didn’t think it was overly salty. Get the bone marrow oysters, ribeye (no sauce) and fries—all you need.
As I understand it, they haven’t yet opened service for Sunday and Monday. Likely a staffing issue. Unsure as to when they’ll open for those days. Anyone have any intel on that front?
