Unfortunantely my buddy didnt have good stems (not even fair ones) which made a huge difference I think.
The Saxum was the most restrained I have ever had, though I think it was mostly the lack of a dedent stem. I poured some in a water glass and it was much better. There does seem to be less sweetness that I recall in this bottle and the elements are all there but not working in harmony. I think this bottle needs a lot of time.
The Prum was, as usual, awesome. Lots of sulfur on the nose bu the palate is all creamy honey, pears and white fruits with an eternal finish.
Caymus 06 gives great bang for the buck in my opinion. Tannic and youthful but full of tasty plums, dark berries and a healthy dose of toasty oak that peeks through often. Itll go for years though.
