Howdy Mike! They were both bottled in January, a couple of weeks before BD. So, both are in a bit of bottle shock, but not that bad at all. If you splash decant for about half an hour they are good to go. The chardonnay will be better in 3 months and be best from then to 2025. The pinot could use 3 months as well and will really start hitting its stride from this fall through 2027. These wines are meant to have varietal typicity and pop-and-pour enjoyment. There is no story or flashy marketing. Just clean wine that isnāt manipulated and made for pure enjoyment.
Is anyone still waiting on their Brevity order? I am, and Iāve sent several e-mails to Bobby and Mark (also Alexander, which is now being rejected) w/o an answer. I cannot find a phone number on their web site(s).
Bobby or Mark, if you see this please contact me via PM or from my e-mails. Thanks.
Bobby May
Youāve done an outstanding presentation and I hope you succeed.
I know how difficult it is and if your wine satisfies all of these WB who are supporting you
then you are off to a tremendous start.
Youāve done a truly magnificent marketing & presentation, now relax and take in the good youāve
put out there.
I recently observed a marketing ātrickā that another newcomer used to lure more clients
and I think his insincerity and false words will be what remains from his clever campaign.
Unlike your message which is so sincere. āYou canāt fool all the people all the timeā B. Dylan.
I imagine your wines to be true as your presentation is and people will be satisfied with that.
Rick, I really appreciate your patience. A few other BD orders (out of 300) did have some problems. Itās tough because I am too small to process such a large batch. So, I rely on a fulfillment house. I just went ahead and sent out your order. You should be receiving a tracking number today. Please feel free to call or text me if you have any further concerns.
Thank you for the kind words William. Winemaking is a very intimate endeavor. And at times can be very lonely, as so much of my soul is in each bottle. But then someone pops that bottle and gets to know me a bit better and tells me how much they enjoyed it. Iām just trying to spread joy and the love of life one bottle at a time. It looks like you live in HNL. My wife is from Oahu. She spent her first 22 years in Kailua/Lanikai and now resides with me in Calistoga. But we come your way for a few weeks every year. Maybe we can connect next time I head over. Take care sir.
Your sincerity is obvious in your words , in your mind and heart & I imagine it is in your spirit and your relationship to nature.
I expect your wines reflect that same sincere approach.
I have an idea how the path can be lonely and difficult, there are no shortcuts.
We moved from the mainland to Lanikai in 1988 or '89 and lived there until 2018 - and then with all of the commercial development - the charm is gone.
I moved into town and found it quieter.
Yes, that would be nice to share a bottle with you.
please let us know when you will be coming to town.
