Terrific little read. Starts off a bit ‘Peter Mayle’ complaining about French bureaucracy, builders, neighbours etc. Then it really gets into the swing of things with some excellent tales of eating and drinking that make you hungry and thirsty. Very well written and tinged with humour. Highly recommended.
