BTW, anyone who has ever had a Provenance Beckstoffer To Kalon or Behrens & Hitchcock Beckstoffer To-Kalon knows that sub-par wines can be made from better than average vineyards.

Recent 2006 Provenance BTK I found for $50 was more than acceptable at that price point. Would not have paid what others are charging for that real estate though.

I made an observation of the state of wine-making ,nothing more than my opinion… today with the great fruit anyone can make a 90 point wine… it’s that easy…it’s all about the fruit… the wine scale expressing true art had moved to the 95 to 100 point scale… this is my observation, nothing more, nothing less… most of the day today I have been praying for those people who experienced an epic tragedy … save your time posting on this thread as this is my last post on this thread and topic… go pray for those that died today and the families that have to deal with it…be happy you are alive… if you let hate engulf you it will infect your soul…acting like immature animals really shows whoever looks at your foolish postings just how insignificant you are in the wine world… peace out…
