The texture and concentration here is like Ramonet. I feel like this is an up and coming domaine. When looking at my 2020s. This might be one of my best buys. Sexy. Great mouthfeel.
Michel, Hubert, or Vincent? Pardon my ignorance.
Or Phillipe?
I’ve found the Michel Bouzereau MPs to be a little heavy for my palate. I think the 2019 or one of the more recent vintages was 14.3%
Talking here about Michel Bouzereau. I can understand why it might seem a little heavy or dense especially in riper vintages.
I had a Michel Bouzereau Tessons at a restaurant this summer, and it floored how fantastic it was. Went out and bought the 2019 of the same, and intend to keep until at least 5 years before I start drinking. Haven’t had the 1ers, but this village is supposedly handled in the same way as the 1ers, so I am on the lookout.

2016 Michel Bouzereau et Fils Meursault Les Tessons - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault (8/1/2022)
Euro Trip 2022; 7/28/2022-8/3/2022 (Copenhagen, Paris): Tasted in a Gabriel Glas StandArt stem. Toasted hazelnut wafts up, joined by lemon and orange (fruit and zest). The palate is vibrant and lifted, fleshy but cut. The palate again suggest citrus and butter-roasted nuts. There is a very long lemon curd finish. As time goes on (we had this over 3 hours the first night), the buttered hazelnut scent turns to brown butter, more caramelized and less nut forward.
On day 2, this time tasted in what seemed like a wide champagne stem in our hotel, the aroma had turned to full on fresh-baked whole wheat sourdough. Layers of fruit and mineral and acid and more golden fruit weave with each other and the finish has lengthened. I don't think this wine will get better, but it is brilliant now. (94 points)

In all seriousness, I couldn’t agree more. Just so much complexity and density… the 2020 Charmes I had was just stellar
Good timing - I have the 19 Les Tessons cued up to open tonight.
I had this (my first go) in the Spring. Below is the first three words of my note:
