Bordeaux is bargain compared to Napa. Pichon Lalande, Ducru, Canon, Pichon Baron, Montrose all well under $200. Plenty of great bottles around or under $100 (clinet, ponet canet, Branne Canteac, Leoville poyfere) You can’t get that quality at that price point almost anywhere in Napa outside of a couple producers

Napa is unifying it feels like… get the same guy to make the wine, get the same guy to build your winery… basically just hire the “100 point” formula.
Everyone with a checkbook is just trying to make Harlan, Dominus, Screagle, etc.
