Best wine cellar door mural ever!

(Even though it’s not a mural to a cellar - wtf!)

A friend of Jen’s paints murals like this - I had no clue she did a wine-related one until I saw it posted on Facebook. Better have high ceilings for this one.

And then the house just sat on the market for 14 months and I just can’t understand why!

No doubt - but if it’s a cellar door, then the house buyer is buying a cellar also, so likely would enjoy such a mural. In this case, as a doorway to a hall, might be a tougher sale

My Dad used to say that cellardoor was the most beautiful sound in the English language. If he had another daughter he would like to name her that.

Only much later I found out this was not an original thought

Well, proper cellaring dictates the bottle be laid sideways, so perhaps long walls are really what’s needed.

Oh my, that is hideous…

Kitsch

It goes so well with the Santa throw rug.

I hate to say it, but I think that mural might be (read: definitely would be) tacky even on a cellar door…

tough crowd, sheesh

“Honey, come home quick! Some hoodlums broke in and painted all over the dining room!”

I think that mural was designed by the same people that came up with the new UC logo.

Cold

It’s not just the mural: They had the door frame flared out so the mural could take the shape of a bottle.

Now, what do you think this homeowner’s five favorite wines are?

Well, the bottle on the mural appears to be a burgundy bottle, so hold them horses!

No real Burgundy lover would have commissioned a mural of a 2003.

No, I’m thinking it’s a googleplextupled-magnum of Chateauneuf-du-Pape.

you should ban them all! [smileyvault-ban.gif] [smileyvault-ban.gif]

Is that the entrance to a sushi restaurant then?
