I love those wines and rarely get to drink them to catch up on where they are in their evolution. Thinking of organizing a best of 60’s and 70’s California tasting/dinner in the Los Angeles area. I’m in Chicago but would fly in for this. From memory, I have Inglenook, Martini SS/PR, Krug, and Robert Mondavi.

We’ll be down in LA toward the early/middle of August so, if by some stroke of luck the dates worked, I’d be interested. I have three 1978s: Beringer PR, Beaulieu GdL, Ch. Montelena.
