I’ve been to Napa a fair amount but always as a small group or couple doing tastings/visits that I had pre-arranged. I was asked recently to brainstorm a few wineries that might be open to hosting a small group corporate event this fall ideally with space for the group (20ish) to meet followed by private tasting. Anyone have experience or recommendations with wineries in Napa that do this type of corporate hosting at a high level?
Does it involve a helicopter? To Screaming Eagle?
Sorry, just had to
Or an RV?
Maybe the best WB thread in history.
Napa Valley Vintners Collective.
Hitting 20 is tough for a quality experience.
We have gone up at 12 or 13…
Consider Domaine Carneros, Brasswood, Davis Family (they rock,) Alpha Omega (talk to Rick Patton.) Silver Oak Napa has a room that could do that, too.
All of these places can do small dish accompaniment, as well.
I will try to remember others.
Why not do it at a restaurant and do a variety of wines. What is your budget per person might help?
Check with Larkmead, as I recall they have a good sized room.
Check with Elusa Winery at the Four Seasons in Calistoga.
We had a work offsite tasting and lunch at Chimney Rock, the barrel room is more than large enough to host a group of that size:
Hall Rutherford is a step above Chimney Rock, a real first class experience and site of an infamous wine cave fundraiser:
Memento Mori has a fantastic tasting room about a mile south of downtown Napa that might work.
They serve high end cabernets as well as a Sauvignon Blanc. The space could for sure fit 20ish people.
It will skew towards the high end but its worth it- great wines and people.
Worth a look, and if you’d like further information, feel free to PM me and I can also make an introduction and you will be dialed in…
Alpha Omega has a really nice room.
Or Merryvale.
Robert Sinskey might be able to accommodate you. Delicious wines both red and white, right in Stag’s Leap District.
Lokoya is amazing - Ovid may work as well - -The best may be Promontory
Hendry - best tour in the valley. Plenty of room for 20.

Eleven:eleven near downtown and everyone will love the wine

Also agree with Tony - larkmead is great but it’s up in Calistoga
Viader and O’Shaughnessy could probably accommodate this. Spectacular views from both.
When my daughter was getting her undergraduate degree at Creighton University in Omaha, one of the classes made a trip to the bay area, as well as Napa, I arranged a tasting for almost 20 of the students/advisors at Mondavi. First class event which everyone loved.
Going out t this May…can get all 3 …any preference.
Have spent most of time in Paso for last 10 years (been in the cave with Justin at Saxum) but going to Napa for corp event and have some access…Mayacamas, Ovid, Loyoya, Diamond Creek
