I’m curious what wineries people think make the best expressions of famed Napa sites that go multiple places. For example, so many people make a Dr. Crane or a To Kalon – I’ve always heard that the Realm Dr. Crane was on another level and that now Vice Versa is supposedly getting the best To Kalon fruit out there. There are so many wineries out there that make wine from those Beckstoffer sites – the ones that come to mind first are Realm, Vice Versa, TOR, The Debate, Arrow and Branch, etc. Who specializes in what? What are people’s go-to wines?

IMO, the best expression of To Kalon Cabernet Sauvignon fruit is MacDonald, the best expression of Dr. Crane fruit is Salvestrin and Paul Hobbs, and the best expression of Las Piedras fruit is Paul Hobbs and Fait-Main.
Agree 100% on best expression of Las Piedras being Paul Hobbs. Best To Kalon I’ve had so far is Tor, but I haven’t had Schrader or MacDonald.
