Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping

I use it regularly. Get a hit on something I like just about as often as the rest of em! Maybe once or twice a month. They have had a lot of Kinsella Cabernet over the past 8-9 months (and I had to buy every one of em), but seems to have stopped recently.

I thought they introduced winecellar just recently. Could be wrong thpough. They have been having winetext for a while.

Sorry if I am misunderstanding. I meant the daily discount text offer—I can’t quite remember what it was called, but it was a winelibrary thing that felt like the 10th daily discount site that I didn’t need.

Yeah, it’s called WineText and it is through Wine Library. Gary Vee is owner, or at least spokesperson.

But oh yes, they offer two additional daily offerings. Wine Text 2, which comes via mail and CellarText, which is very high end offerings (more limited wine, not really discounted). All the same company.

Yeah, that’s correct. Winetext has been for a while. But recently they introduced https://cellartext.com/ where they offer one premium wine every day. Apologies, I said winecellar instead of cellartext.

Wine Spies has Kelley Fox Weber 2022 for $49 per bottle.

For those in the Chicago area.
The owner of the “Wine Cellar” in Palatine passed away and they are having a liquidation sale. 30% off everything, 40% off if you put a mixed case together, and 45% off on a case if you pay cash. They have some high end stuff in case anyone is interested but I would get there quick.

If there website is accurate, any chance you’d be willing to pick up and ship for a fellow berseker?

Due to present circumstances, at this time I cannot help you out.
Besides, history has it that their website is seldom up to date, especially given the passing of the owner. And who knows what has been sold already.

Sorry

I visited the Wine Cellar this evening. Place was packed (word spread quickly), it was chaotic, and it looked like they’d already sold a lot of inventory. There are very few price tags left, so you’ll only know the price once you check out. I suspect mid-range Italian and Spanish wines are probably categories with the most buying opportunities from what is left (I bought 2016 Guidalberto for $35), as well as Guigal Cote Roties. Dessert wines are 60% off.

RIP to Mr. Kaplan.

anyone score anything good?

DVNO is offering 25% off all in-stock wines and free shipping on orders over $500. Code: 4JULY

Some good values if you’re into Italian wines.

Edit: No Durands available. There were 4 at $109

Dang, looks like the Durands already sold out

Crush wine sale for New Yorkers

Wineaccess is doing $50 off $150 with promo code July50 , which also qualifies for free shipping. Their prices aren’t the best but with promo code and free shipping definitely worth a look. Code valid through 7/11.

Not sure if you can stack with the promo code or not but my referral code below gets $50 off first time purchase
