Yeah, agreed. I could have been more explicit in my qualifier but it may be worth it for someone wanting to snag just one bottle given the free shipping, especially for those not near big wine hubs. But overall, it’s not a price that I would be rushing in on.
If I had the money left in my wine budget for the month I probably would’ve pulled the trigger. It’s hard to find under $300 here in NC and I’d only buy a bottle or two…so with the free shipping it would’ve been worth it.

Chicagoland: Saw this at Mariano’s Lakeshore East but might be available at other locations. Both are 2021. Both are well below W-S and have 91.8 and 91 scores on CT.

To be fair, for those on the east coast not buying by the half case/case quantities, whether mixed or not—the $20 difference is made up with free shipping on 1 bottle.
Perhaps, but it’s pitched as a discount site (like LastBottle) and it is…not that.

WHWC is also pre-arrival and subject to the 10% tariff upon arrival so it’s a wash in price. Not defending LB at all because their pricing structure is generally frustratingly laughable.
When I originally got the cancellation notice, this was the reason given by WDC:
…we have been notified that the Felsina Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Rancia 2021 is not currently available, and we cannot obtain any more from our supplier.
Well today they put it back up at $64.99. So I inquired with WDC and they said:
I have been notified by our team that the order was canceled by our merchant due price correction.
… which is what some of us thought. It happens and I understand, but I really don’t like initial misleading statement and I closed out my WDC account today.
