He’s pretty good about holding at the store. He does local delivery, but not sure if it’s on-demand (i.e. he’ll drop if he’s in the area doing a cellar consult) or if there is a minimum.
Ah, I think that’d be asking too much of my relatives. Be all over it if local, though!

As mentioned upthread, here’s the 1c wine - 2021 Ch. du Jaunay [Muscadet Sevre & Maine Sur Lie] which was really good. It’s from the Bougrier family, and they seem to have some other bottlings as well, but this zippy 11.5% muscadet is pretty tasty, especially on the first day. It’s a bit more rounded than the most angular expressions, and I wondered if there was some RS in there between the low abv, and some floral/peachy/citrus flavors. I’d repurchase, even if it cost more than a copper coin, and would give this synthetic closed bottle a B to B+ score, tilting toward the latter if value is considered.
The back label requires this light bodied blanc be enjoyed with goat cheese, shellfish, and other seafoods which I dutifully complied with, by making a round of ‘Skandi Pizza’.
