Shipping costs have changed a lot. I had quotes in May shipping for a large format that I didn’t ship until October and the overnight rate in October was the same price as ground in May. Some of these places are just capturing extra profits and not adjusting their pricing. Shipping / transport costs have crashed globally. If anyone is saying otherwise, they are being genuinely dishonest. It’s almost a Depression-level issue in that sector. Shipping should be much, much cheaper.

I used these guys for an HDH purchase I made about a month ago. I paid $51 for 3 bottles shipped ground from Portland to Boise. I paid $21 for 3 bottles shipped ground from a Portland retailer a week before. So, they are making quite a good profit.

RMN is still 16% . . . just stacked VINTAGE 20 for 20/100 combined with Amex 10/50 for a pretty good deal on a couple Italian wines that otherwise would have been overpriced.

Feels like I’ve been out of the WDC game for a few months but 16% RMN roped me back in.
List price after tax for 16 bottles was ~$1.1k, after raise GC discounts, coupons, Amex offers and RMN CB, net after tax was ~$580, solid 46% off!
Went with some bdx and rhones that were close to WS low.

Haven’t ordered from WDC in over a year, but 20% + $30 off $100 from Amex + a free shipping coupon (that miraculously worked in Ohio) got me a pretty nice deal

How does Rakuten do with promo codes lately? Wanna catch this 20% wave, but worry about using unlisted promo codes.
I haven’t had any issues with them and I’ve gone pretty heavy on purchases over the weekend with all being tracked. It’s the others that give me worry (CapOne’s recent 27% offer comes to mind).
