Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping

I’m still getting 18% offers, but 30% days are long gone.

Considering only 30/150 or 50/250 coupons around, really not enough to pull the trigger.

Sounds like WDC is going down the JC Penney/BBB method, where prices are 20% higher but everyone has a 20% off coupon. I haven’t seen any raging deals out of TX lately. With the coupons everything comes down to roughly the same price as they are elsewhere to start with. Their shipping/customer service is fantastic though.

I find with the 18% cash back and 20% coupon the pricing is generally the best I can find.

Agreed, especially with Raise typically selling cards at more than 10% off these days.

Forgot about that. Yea, a $100 bottle goes down to $80, then $65, then about $60 after tax. 40% off list is pretty good when the markup is 20%.

I have received a 30% Capone offer every day this month from within the iOS app

Not working for me - maybe you didn’t use the first time?

It’s still valid to me even now, so maybe I’ve never used it :woman_shrugging:

Interesting preview tag on this e-mail:

Turned out to be 18% but I thought that was funny - first time I’ve seen it come up that way.

WDC $50 off $250, exp. 5/7/2023, APPY50

20% Rakuten. Stacking the APPY50 on 2012 Taittinger Comtes is tempting.

(edited to the proper wine…)

Which WH has 2012? I see only 2013 and 2014, neither are coupon eligible. I’m checking CA warehouse.

Mine was definitely 20% from the app. I received and email announcing it.

Ah, the website is 15%, sounds like a better deal in the app.

Thanks. With this, the 50 off 250, and Amex 60 off 200, I got Champagne Eric Rodez Empreinte de Terroir Noir 2009 and Pingus PSI for about $144 all in including tax and shipping.

Got yet another 2017 VCC
Question. I have a couple $200 gift cards from purchases through Capital One. If I use it to make another purchase will I still get the 20% from Rakuten for that $200 or is the amount used post gift card?

There are never any guarantees on these, but I have always gotten the same cash back on a total purchase of $X, whether I paid $X using gift cards or credit cards, or any combination of both. That said, all of my recent experience has been with RMN, CapOne, or TCB, not Rakuten.

@Peter_Panzica I’ve had the same experience as Dave
