Been lurking here for a few weeks, making great use by buying more wines I don’t need. Can’t stop, won’t stop. Just took everyone’s advice and installed RMN. On day one it showed 12% cash back, and I held onto my unused codes with the intention of waiting for a better deal, but every day since it’s been only 4% back. My question is what to usually expect here? What’s considered a “this is the time to act” percentage, and how often do these occur?
20% cashback occurs several times a year.
I would pulled the trigger on 10-20% cashback when purchasing a bottle thats <$50ish. If I make a purchase that goes $100+ I usually wait for 15-20%.
I have enough wine that I dont need to react on FOMO.
I believe the 20% cash back happens on average once per month, but there have been multi-month gaps in the past when it hasn’t come around. Also note that cashbackmonitor only recently started tracking RMN, so that’s why it doesn’t show any 20% prior to october 2021.
A year ago, for example, RMN offered 20% for a day or three in early December, as they did again this year, and then I believe the next time wasn’t until right around Valentine’s Day. They bounce around a lot including sometimes going weeks with no cash back offered at all, but so far the 20% days have continued to come back around on the guitar every so often.
So last bottle is promising 2 marathon days with free shipping, Thursday and Friday…
As they are saying “ we just received an OUTRAGEOUS amount of containers from Europe (yes, they have been stuck for months) with a mind-bending amount of great bottles.” Among some Napa “gems”
For first timers I do have a referral code for a $10 discount on first orders….
There have been some restocks of Bordeaux at WDC in my region but only low value coupons + low cashback at the moment make the deals decent but not must-haves.
Michael, Im curious how the 3 x Amex deal works/ stacks. The 20% new customer does not apply to me , but I do have the Amex offer which is worded something like ‘$30 off a purchase of $100 or more useable up to three times’. Hypothetically, to purchase three bottles of this Champagne would I buy one one bottle @145 ea in three separate purchases and get $30 off each. Or could I buy the three in a single purchase at the reduced price of $135 ea and have the $30 apply three times to the total purchase? Thanks.
Check the fine print, sometimes the amex offers change. But when I used my WA amex offer last year, I was able to trigger it multiple times during the same purchase.
