I have never not been credited by Rakuten automatically when using discount codes not found on the site despite the fine print. For me the cashback does not appear until the wine actually ships, or sometimes a few days after that, but it always shows up eventually, including purchases made last week.

I did use the app. These two orders did not work.

As I wrote above, I’ve already contacted them. They just came back and said they have to contact the merchant which will take 10 to 45 days. No big deal but, as you said, it should be automatic.

That’s very odd. I made five purchases during the 15% cash back. Twice I used the app and those weren’t credited immediately. I emailed them on both, and the next day I received the cash back. And I always stacked with other promo codes. They usually take care of you.
