So I got some 375 2019 Donnhoff Felsenbergs using a $50 off $150 and an Amex $30 off $100 on Wine.com and it’s on sale.
I think I can do it again with another Amex, wondering if $209 For a Tattinger 2008 Comte minus $80 is a great enough deal given that I already have enough champagne (but not of that). Any other Old World whites on wine.com that are exciting and farily priced.
It’ll come out to $129 before tax which is a pretty solid deal for 2008 Comtes. But it’s not really maximizing the deal since you could technically get $80 off $150 by combining both of those. Still, I’d probably go for it.
I know, I had some fun maximizing the first deal ($159.96 was pretty good), but am bored trying for the second time. I run into things I want, like they now have the other Huet 2019 secs, but at $47 when Sec Wines, where I got a few before, is $37. So I need 25% off just to get back to it. and 3 bottles is just shy of $150. I do save, but I feel like it’s only because I’m stacking with an Amex offer - the $50 off $150 would only save me $2.50 a bottle vs. Sec, the first $40 off from the $50 off $150 off just gets me to competitive.
Thanks for posting Jin. I stacked a 50 off 150 plus a 30 back from amex. Came to 43.5 each inc tax, delivered for 2x Billecart salmon brut rose. All of those codes seem to work
They seem to be reusable on different accounts. Just not on the same account. Or if you have already used a 100 off 300 code in general for this cycle. If you really found something you wanted that was a steal, you could just have a friend or family member order on another account for you. You just wouldn’t get the stewardship shipping discount if you have already paid for that obviously.
Huh, interesting. Typically these codes will appear valid in the shopping cart, even on multiple accounts, but as soon as the first order is submitted the code will no longer work. It didn’t work for me, but perhaps this one is different. Given all the server quirks at wine.com recently I wouldn’t be too surprised if they accidentally allowed multiple uses.
