Yeah, may want to PM Erin di costanzo on here; she may be able to put together a nice set of wines for you. I think you’d like the entire lineup, certainly farella and dico.
No luck on the '18 Elyse Napa locally, although my CA specialist right down the road (rural wine store - gas station that sells live bait if you can imagine that) has Elyse Tietjen '18, but that’s $120. If I want a Bevan-made 2018 there, best I can do is Ontogeny, one for the price of 2 . That Chasse-Spleen is sounding pretty good.
Isn’t the idea to pass the love down to the underlings?? After all, they may comparatively lack the resources or the knowledge to enjoy the finer things.
No worries, was trying to give you guys a hard time. Plus I remember being an associate or at least that was the title I had, when I first started out, but that was a while ago and things were different at the time. Can imagine the landscape has changed a lot in 15 years.
Rotating back to the actual thread, the DiCO is quite good and I would recommend the purchase if you are able to acquire them. I imagine the single vineyard Di Costanzo are killer as well, but I have been letting them rest and have not established the courage to open one yet.
I’ve been drinking glasses of the 2018 DI CO over the past couple of days using Coravin. Scored a few bottles for $49 on BD12. It is clearly very good stuff, but it needs more time to come together.
I’ve tried the '16 and '17 DICOs and I’d not call them restrained. They are excellent, but most definitely full-bodied. Even Ridge seems fuller and richer than they used to be.
